I am so impressed with this place! We live in Washington and our vet was full. We looked everywhere from Muscatine to Iowa City and luckily realized Pella was between Washington and Des Moines. We will definitely bring our dogs back here for all of our Des Moines trips. Great place. You can really tell they care about your pets

Paxton loves going to Black Oak for puppy camp. I love when I pick him up he is not starving for attention and is tired from all the fun he has had. They do a great job and I feel less guilty knowing if he can’t come with us he will have his own fun.

This was the first time we boarded our dogs. My only request was that they be together. They were very willing to due this. We have tried separating them before, and it didn’t turn out well. I called half way through the week and they told me they were doing wonderful. I will definitely take them here again.
